Delivery & Pickup Policy

Express Delivery

1) Available Products

Products in all categories, including Snacks, Food Essentials, Beauty & Household, Fresh & Frozen, Kitchen Hot Food (in selected areas) and Bakery are available in this service.

2) Delivery Areas

We offer express delivery service in selected areas. Please click to see if your address is covered at https://www.tntsupermarket.com/activity/express-delivery-area.

3) Delivery Time

We offer multiple time slots each day for you to choose from. Orders can be delivered in as fast as 2 hours after the time slot you select.

4) Delivery Charges

Effective May 30, 2022, the new delivery charges will apply. This helps to support capability enhancements as we strive to maintain the high service levels.

Handling fee: $4.99

Delivery fee: $5.99 (flat on orders within 100 lbs.)

Overweight Surcharge: $0.5 for an additional 1 lbs. on orders over 100 lbs.

Note:

• You will receive a regular partial refund email (in case of out-of-stock or insufficient items) before your order is dispatched. Please check your email. If you would like to be notified in advance, please leave a note in your order message.

• We’ll contact you during the delivery process.

• If you select the "Leave at Door" delivery option, your order will be left at your door or a specified location (e.g., yard, locker, mailroom, or leasing office). For non-alcoholic orders, your presence is not required at the time of delivery. If you do not wish for items to be placed directly on the ground, please prepare an appropriate container or box at the drop-off area in advance. Please promptly retrieve and refrigerate any temperature-sensitive items upon delivery.

If the "Leave at Door" option is not selected, the driver will meet you in person. Someone must be present to receive the order. The driver will wait for up to 5 minutes. If no one is available or cannot be reached, the delivery will be considered failed. We do not redeliver your order after a failed first attempt and the order will be cancelled. A restocking fee of 20% of your order total will apply.

• For condo/apartment deliveries, due to building policies and parking restrictions, we cannot guarantee delivery to your unit door. Please ensure that your building management permits parcel drop-off in common areas and provide a valid buzz number to facilitate access.

• Please ensure the delivery address provided is accurate to avoid missed deliveries.  Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. During the delivery process, tracking links may display inaccurately due to network or system issues.

• If you need to cancel your order on the day of dispatch, a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the total order amount will be charged, along with any fees related to the disposal of fresh products.

 

Mail to Home

Currently, we use Canada Post expedited service as an authorized third-party fulfillment and delivery provider for all mail to home orders.

Orders can be delivered straight to your home or a Canada Post office near you, based on your selected preference at checkout.

1) Available Products

This service is only available for products such as Snacks, Food Essentials, and other items that do not require temperature control and can be stored and transported for extended periods. Therefore, fresh, frozen, chilled, prepared foods, and cakes cannot be delivered via Canada Post.

2) Delivery Areas

We deliver to most of Ontario (ON), British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Manitoba (MB), New Brunswick (NB), Nova Scotia (NS), Saskatchewan (SK), Yukon (YT), Northwest Territories (NT), Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) and Prince Edward Island (P.E.I), except Nunavut (NU).

*Postal codes start with X0E, X0C, X0B, X0A, A0P, A0K, Y0B are currently not covered

3) Delivery Charges

4) Delivery Time

Normally, your order will be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery time may be extended due to unforeseen reasons and during the holiday period. Please note no orders will be delivered on statutory holidays.

Note:

• If your order is returned to T&T due to your failure to pick up the order from a Canada Post office location within the required timeframe, any shipping costs charged to you in respect of that order will not be refunded to you.

• You will receive an email or other communication with order shipping information after you have paid for your order. You may also track your order in “My Order” or through the Canada Post website.

• Please ensure that you submit your order with accurate delivery details, including the delivery address, particularly the unit number, in order to avoid further issues with delivery.

• Delivery time may vary due to external factors.

 

Click & Collect

1) Available Products

Products in all categories, including Snacks, Food Essentials, Beauty & Household, Fresh & Frozen, Kitchen and Bakery are available in this service.

2) Pickup Locations

We currently offer over 20 T&T store pickup locations across the country. More pickup locations are being added.

3) Pickup Time

We offer limited time slots per day on a first-come, first served basis. Your pickup order can be ready as early as 4 hours after it is placed or on the same day. Order cut-off for same-day pickup will be 3pm.

*Please note that times may vary slightly by store, and the company reserves the right of final interpretation.

4) Handling Fee

$4.99 per order and no additional charges will apply.

Note:

• Once your order is prepared, you will receive a notification. Please pick up your order within the designated time window at the store. If you are unable to pick up the order on time, please inform us in advance to ensure the freshness of your products.

• If you are unable to pick up your order in person, you may authorize someone else to pick it up on your behalf. Please provide the name of the person in advance, and ensure they bring the necessary identification.

• We will hold your items until 8 PM on the day of pickup. If not picked up by then, the order will be considered abandoned.

• If the order is not picked up on the day, a fee of up to 20% of the total order amount will be charged. Fresh products will be disposed of, as we cannot guarantee their food safety, and no refunds will be issued.

• If you need to cancel the order on the day of delivery, a fee of up to 10% of the total order amount and the disposal fee for fresh products will be charged.
